Why?

Karma works in that if you do something good it will be paid forward and for those who are mean/ do bad things they in turn will be repaid for the bad they caused. Well, I would like to think I'm a decent person. I don't lie, cheat, steal, I put others before myself and will listen to any one's problems even when I don't have time. So why did everything that could go wrong today go wrong? The morning was decent but the afternoon was terrible. In yearbook I had to scream at a student because she wouldn't work and was distracting others. I had asked her nicely several times to take her seat and nothing was getting through to her. I'm proud of myself though, she tried to sass me and act like she didn't have to listen to me-but I didn't back down and she returned to her seat to pout. Moving right along to the next disaster, today was newspaper printing day. After printing page one we learn that we are out of black ink... OK no big deal we will just go get a new cartridge from our storage. BUT OF COURSE NOT... A certain someone in the business department thought those were for her own personal use, so she used every single black cartridge (yes even the ones the publication staff bought for newspaper purposes only). Oh the nerve of some people. After learning we were all out of ink we decided to just print out one copy of the remaining pages and print them in b&w using the copier that copies extremely quick. NOT HAPPENING because it is also out of ink and the office is closed by this time. So two hours later, sitting in Mrs. Walker's room without Mrs. Walker- Brittany, Ashley, and I finish all 535 copies of the newspaper and deliver them to the office. Oh how great is the journalistic world? Sometimes not very. However... I love it.

Thank you, Puddles... for making me giggle by sticking your face in the noodle container.
